De Wilde Brouwers is located in the suburban area around Ghent, in Flora, Merelbeke. The historic factory in which we brew is of post-war heritage, until the late 1970s the SOFACQ slippers were produced here. Next to a craft brewery, the building also houses an art collection and vegan bakery. It's a place with a soul and brimming with creative vibes.
Installations from disappeared breweries form the basis of our brewery installation. Hours of polishing and welding renewed their former glory. We brew low, high and wild fermentation beers according to our Belgian tradition. Our beers unfiltered and refermented in the bottle or we let our beer age in wooden barrels, mixing it with freshly brewed beer.
